- Refresh the page. When prompted, click Allow.
Safari (Mac)
- Go to the Safari menu > Settings > Websites.
- Click on Microphone in the left sidebar.
- Find the website in the right pane and choose Allow from the drop-down menu.
- Repeat for Camera if necessary.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the lock icon in the address bar.
- Next to Microphone and Camera, toggle the switches to the "On" position.
- Refresh the page.
System-Level Permissions (Mac and Windows)
If the browser permissions are set correctly but it still doesn't work, your operating system might be blocking the browser itself.
On Mac: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone. Ensure your browser is toggled on.
On Windows: Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone. Ensure "Let apps access your microphone" is turned on, and that your specific browser is allowed.
